Background

Denise brings over 18 years of experience working at a wide range of fitness studios. She is best known for her time as a Pilates instructor at Julian Littleford’s world-renowned Pilates studio, where she developed her expertise under his mentorship. Denise also made a name for herself as a personal trainer at CHUZE Fitness, where she was repeatedly recognized as the top trainer across all 14 CHUZE locations nationwide. In addition to these roles, she has worked at numerous Pilates and fitness studios, gaining exposure to diverse teaching styles and cultivating a rich knowledge base that has earned her a respected reputation within the fitness community.
Throughout her career, Denise has helped clients with a variety of physical conditions, including knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff tears, disk herniations, scoliosis, osteoporosis, and spinal stenosis, always with a doctor’s approval. She has also successfully trained clients with high blood pressure and heart disease. No matter the challenge, Denise is known for crafting safe, effective routines that empower her clients to meet their fitness goals.
Denise has developed a loyal following over the years, not only because of the results she delivers but also due to her warmheartedness and genuine care for her clients. Her commitment to expanding her knowledge sets her apart from other trainers. Denise believes that the more she knows, the better she can serve her clients.
In 2005, Denise completed the 500-hour Pilates apprenticeship under the guidance of Julian Littleford, equipping her to work with clients with a variety of physical challenges. She continued her education by becoming a certified personal trainer through NASM in 2012, a highly regarded credential within the personal training industry. Denise furthered her expertise by earning NASM certifications in corrective exercise, senior fitness and women’s fitness specialization through NASM.
In 2015, Denise and her daughter Kelly opened their own studio, providing a space where they could offer clients a unique, one-on-one fitness experience that combines the best of Pilates and personal training, delivering highly customized and effective fitness routines to their clients.
Denise is currently working on earning her Stretching and Flexibility coach certification through NASM. Her training philosophy emphasizes proper form and functional movement, with each routine grounded in exercise science and customized to align with her clients’ specific goals and interests.
