NASM OPT Model
The NASM Optimal Performance Training (OPT) model is a structured, evidence-based training system designed to improve functional movement, strength, and overall performance. It consists of three primary phases—Stabilization, Strength, and Power—which are further broken down into smaller stages to meet the needs of different fitness levels and goals. The Stabilization phase focuses on improving balance, core stability, and muscular endurance. The Strength phase develops hypertrophy and maximal strength, while the Power phase enhances explosive strength and speed. This progressive system allows trainers to tailor programs to their clients, helping them achieve their fitness goals safely and effectively by addressing stability, strength, and performance in a balanced manner.
We primarily focus on the corrective exercise, stabilization and endurance, and strength endurance phases with our clients, while incorporating some hypertrophy work. Each training phase has its own strengths and weaknesses, and as trainers, we carefully balance and program your routines to maximize results and address your individual needs.
What we offer and why
We offer one-on-one sessions.
What makes our style unique?
Our personal training style is centered around functional movement, rather than relying on fixed equipment commonly found in many gyms. We prioritize the use of free weights, resistance bands, and cable machines to create dynamic, full-body workouts. By blending the core principles of Pilates—concentration, control, centering, precision, flow, and breath—with our expertise from NASM certifications, we craft personalized programs that cater to each client’s unique needs. With years of experience training clients of all ages, fitness levels, and abilities, we excel at both regressing and progressing exercises based on each client's needs. Whether working with individuals recovering from joint replacements, back surgeries, scoliosis, or stenosis(after exercise is advised by their Doctor), we are skilled at adapting routines to ensure safety and effectiveness. We carefully adjust programs depending on where clients are in their fitness journey and how they feel each day, making sure to support their fitness goals.
